Ticket Policies

International tickets (trips that cross an international border) are non-refundable and non-transferable. For a very small minority of international routes, you can purchase the Refund Protection option, which if available will be visible at the top of the page during the checkout process.  If you don't see the Refund Protection option, it is not available for that route. The maximum amount of the refund is 50% with 72 hours notice. Certain restrictions may apply for changing the date and itinerary of your ticket.  

Domestic tickets (trips inside the borders of a single country) are generally easier to change and refund, but depend on the carrier, the country policies, and the route, among various other conditions. Most domestic routes you can purchase the additional Refund Protection plan to bypass these conditions, which assures you a quick refund of 80% of your ticket provided you give us 72 hours advance notice. If the Refund Protection plan is available for your ticket, it will be visible at the top of the page during the checkout process. If you don't see the Refund Protection option, it is not available for that route.

What happens when I order?

  1. You are not immediately charged. A trip planner quickly reviews your order to lower your price if possible, or to verify there are no other issues with the itinerary. This usually takes a few minutes.

  2. While you are waiting, you will get an e-mail confirming your order.

    If all looks good, we approve your payment and send you your e-ticket by e-mail!

    If there are issues, we cancel the payment and send you an e-mail with alternative ideas.

  3. Included with your ticket will be instructions, maps, photo orientation, and any other personalized guidance for making your trip hassle-free both at the origin and your destination.
